Ateneo-Celadon: 6th Spring Film Festival

This is one of the letters I received from Ateneo-Celadon. I am really interested in attending their great event on January 20-29, 2012 but I can't for some reasons. So, all I can do for now is to wish them success for the 6th Spring Film Festival and spread about the upcoming event. Feel free to contact them in the numbers provided in this open letter.

Dear Algene May,

Warm greetings of peace! 迎春节!

The Spring Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals in the Chinese-Filipino community. This is a fitting time to celebrate Chinese. This coming Dragon year is considered the luckiest year by Chinese experts. In line with this, the Ateneo de Manila University Ricardo Leong Center for Chinese Studies together with Ateneo-Celadon will stage its 6th Spring Film Festival featuring films that showcase the artistic prowess and the cultural heritage of Mandarin language movies.

Included in the 2012 movie list are: Ocean Heaven, Confucius, Bodyguards and Assassins, Lost on Journey, Country Wedding and King of Mi-lu Deer. The screening will happen on January 20-29,2012 at the Shangri-la Plaza Mall, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

All these six movies can be enjoyed by the public for free thus, we would like to reach as many audience as possible. With this, we would like to invite you to our special screening on January 10, 2012 at the Shangri-la Plaza Mall Cineplex and be the first to watch the multi-awarded film Bodyguards and Assassins. We are hoping that you could help us promote the festival by writing an article about the pre-screened movie and publish it on your blog. We would also acknowledge your blog/website in our facebook page, twitter and website.

Should you be interested in attending the advance screening and/or write about our event, feel free to contact Regine Yu at 09178142803 Carl Lee at 09167383023. Thank you!
